The journey around the sacred landscape of Avebury starts near Silbury hill then up to the Kennet long barrow on to the swallow springs, atop Silbury hill as King Sil rides with his golden traces jingling on his horse. It then takes you up to the sanctuary on to the ridgeway, dropping down to the Avenues into the ditch and bank. As you pass the huge stones the three circles are centred by the Obelisk.
lyrics
Did you know and did you say that you had walked a long long way
Over rolling downs through lush green grass
To make your way to Avebury
To make your way to Avebury
Round the barrow long hold the Goddess strong
Passed Silbury hill masculinity
All seeing Sul will guide you there
To make your way to Avebury
To make your way to Avebury
Did you know and did you say that you had walked a long long way
Over rolling downs through lush green grass
As you make your way to Avebury
As you make your way to Avebury
Round the barrow long holds the Goddess strong
The ghostly hound will make you stare
Some fifty souls were buried here
As you make your way to Avebury
As you make your way to Avebury
Yonder is a great white hill, first a bubbling stream you'll hear
Slake your thirst in waters clear
As the swallow springs from Avebury
As the swallow springs from Avebury
Free water spirits bathe your hair
Wash away all worldly care
Ver will rise to sing her song
As the swallow springs from Avebury
As the swallow springs from Avebury
King Sil he rides with fox and hare golden jingles fill the air
Returns to slumber deep inside
At Silbury hill in Avebury
At Silbury hill in Avebury
Stand atop this chalk white hill
Rising up where skylarks fly
Koeur surveys her pastures sweet. (Koeur hill Goddess)
At Silbury hill in Avebury
At Silbury hill in Avebury
The ridgeway leads to sanctuary a circle ancient as the cove
Deep rites are scored within the land
In Mother Earth at Avebury
In Mother Earth at Avebury
The snake it holds its head up high
Drops down to avenues unseen
Where Ur has placed her naval there
In Mother Earth at Avebury
In Mother Earth at Avebury
Ditch and bank round sarcen stones, humans pass great guardians tall
Two portals watch you tread inside
Step ritually in Avebury
Step ritually in Avebury
Three circles hold the magic strong
A pagan sky temple free
Ah-Ma shines silver on the cove
Step ritually in Avebury
Step ritually in Avebury
If you have the sight to see a pivot of reality
Functions in most every realm
The Obelisk at Avebury
The Obelisk at Avebury
Powerful mighty centre stone
Hold me in your memory
Alchemy transcending time
The Obelisk at Avebury
The Obelisk at Avebury.

Beautiful Pagan Folk music, that tells beautiful stories. You won't find many that do music like this any more. I also love the Celtic and Norse themes stormfay
